The Museums of Nice are extremely rich in antiquity. The Nice Archaeological Museum in the Cimiez neighbourhood is of special interest. It features such Roman ruins as an arena, an amphitheatre, a thermal bath and a paleochristian basilica. It also has displays of various other archaeological marvels. Next door to that museum is the Henri Matisse museum which has a collect of his most famous works.
