Situated on the hills between the old town and the harbour, the Park Du Chateau is popular with both locals and tourists alike. From this lookout there are breathtaking 360 degree views of the city and the bay where you can see yachts and cruise ships docking or sailing by, it is also a perfect spot to watch the sun set.

You can get to the park by foot climping the steps, and there are also great walkways on the way up that take in a natural waterfall and various pathways allowing you to explore the ‘cemitieres de Nice’. There is also the option of the lift from Rue des Ponchettes at the foot of Bellanda Tower that will bring you straight to the top.

Le Parc Du Chateau is a great spot for relaxing and picnicking, the remains on an 11th century cathedral is a big attraction to the grounds as well as the terrace cafes, souvenir shops and large children’s playground
