How to get to Nice:

As one of the top destinations in France, Nice is served by Cote d'Azur International Airport. The airport is second only to the Parisian airports in importance and is no more than 6 kms from Nice.

Nice is also served by train, including the high speed TGV, into Gare de Nice station. The station was built over a century ago in the style of Louis XIII. The station has retained this distinctive look throughout its history and is well worth a visit even if you are not travelling by train. Journey time from Paris is just over 6 hours on the TGV!

As a seaside resort and port it is also possible to arrive by sea. There are frequent trips to the island of Corsica from the Port of Nice.

For travel around the city, the bus system is extensive and is the best way to see the city as you travel. The main bus station is in Place Massena. There is also a Tram system that is under construction and is due to be completed in 2007.
